Barcelona's historic 1992 European Cup opened door for dominant era

Ronald Koeman's free kick in extra time was the deciding goal in the 1992 European Cup final against Sampdoria. Barcelona have been crowned the best team in Europe on five separate occasions, but it was as recently as 1992 that they won their first ever European Cup.
