Idigbe, 22 others inducted knights of St Mulumba

Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Chief Anthony Idigbe, has been admitted into the Order of the Knight of Saint Mulumba, Lagos Metropolitan Council, with 22 others. Idigbe’s  wife, Elizabeth, was also admitted as a Lady of the Order.

The new inductees were admitted into the Order of KSM with their wives at a solemn ceremony held at the Catholic Church of the Transfiguration, Victoria Garden City, Lagos,  after a celebrated High Mass conducted by the Parish Priest, Rev Fr., Michael-Christian Okonkwo and a visiting Chaplain of the Nigerian Army.

Speaking to newsmen on national issues at the sidelines of the induction, Idigbe said: “It is wrong to put pressure on President Muhammadu Buhari to resign on health grounds.” According to him, the decision to resign or not should be a personal decision  of the President.

“It’s a personal decision. It’s up to him to decide. In the Catholic Church, we had a similar experience where a pope on his volition felt it was in the best interest of the church to resign”.
