Presidential aspirant on the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Charles Udeogaranya has commended the senate for taking steps to amend the Nigerian constitution.
In a statement issued in Lagos, Udeogaranya praised the senate for passing several constitutional amendments on various topical issues that Nigerians were yearning for, adding that these passages attest to the fact that Nigeria needs constitutional amendments and not restructuring at this time.
“With these amendments, Nigerians will begin to witness greater development. This has vindicated me as the visionary leader, the country needs come 2019.
“Let me also thank the several civil societies groups that have clamoured for these changes and gradually, we all shall have the kind of nation we desire for the good of all.
“I believe that necessary structural changes will still occur at a time when we have stabilised our economy and all the sections of the country have achieved their self-economic dependency.
“With this successful passage of the constitutional amendments by the Senate, I urge all other pending approvals to follow the trend as led by the Senate.”
