BENIN—EDO State chapter of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has commended the recent Court of Appeal judgment which affirmed Chief Martin Agbaso as the authentic chairman of the party.
It will be recalled that the Court of Appeal sitting in Enugu had last week declared Martin Agbaso as the National Chairman of APGA.
A statement in Benin City, Edo State, yesterday by the state chairman, Elder Godfrey Ehizokhale, said the affirmation has further put the party in a strong position, just as he pledged that party members in Edo State will give their full support to him.
“We are solidly behind him as National Chairman since we believe the sustainability of APGA at ensuring good governance in Nigeria and internal democracy in our great party. We believe that APGA as party can become a strong opposition to the ruling party with Agbaso’s leadership.”
