Uyo—THE Nigeria Police Force has solicited assistance of Akwa Ibom State Government, groups and well meaning citizens of the state to tackle the flood threatening the Police Children School, Uyo.
Speaking yesterday at the 2017 passing out parade of the school, the Force Education Officer, FEO, Mr Rabiu Ladodo said that the recent floods that led to the evacuation of the pupils during school hours was pathetic.
Ladodo said although efforts had been made so far by the police regarding the menace, such efforts were not enough to address it permanently.
The FEO who explained that NPF was committed to addressing the infrastructural and environmental problems faced by Police Children Schools across the country, said, “We are making effort to see that these problems are addressed.”
