WARRI—THE Delta Seaports Stakeholders’ Association, DSSA, has commended the Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, Hajia Hadiza Usman, on efforts by her leadership to actualise the Warri Port dredging, repair of navigational equipment and the break water.
The commendation, which is coming on the heels of a courtesy visit to the NPA headquarters in Lagos by members of the DSSA was sequel to an earlier promise by the association to ensure that indigenes of NPA Warri host communities provide the right atmosphere for the revitalisation of the port.
At the stakeholders’ meeting, the NPA boss, Hajia Usman, was represented by the Executive Director, Finance and Administration, Mr. Mohammed Bello Koko.
In a statement by DSSA’s Chairman and Secretary, Emiko Oghomienor and Tommy Mewe, respectively, the association expressed gratitude to the NPA management for the provision of a tug boat, MT Manu, for Warri Port in fulfilment of Hadiza Usman’s promise at her maiden stakeholders’ meeting in Warri.
