Senator faulted over comments on APC congress

By Fredrick Okopie

THE Bauchi Good Governance and Integrity Group, BAGGIG, has faulted Senator Ali Wakili (Bauchi South) for his comments on the recent ward congress of All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state.

Senator Wakili was quoted as having complained about the party leadership in the state for not being fair to its members, especially in Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro councils.

Speaking through its Chairman, Mr. Sani Musa, BAGGIG alleged that the statement credited to the senator in a national daily (not the Vanguard) was selfish.

Musa said in spite of Wakili’s position, APC in Bauchi State, under the leadership of Governor Mohammed Abubakar, is one family living in a peaceful political atmosphere and will remain so regardless “of those acting the script of their paymasters aimed at creating disunity and portraying the party in a bad light.”
