Mr. Fred Nzeakor, Lawyer and public affairs analyst, Monday said that hate speech is any disparaging statement whether truth or false that is aimed at bringing someone or group of persons down.
Ms. Ada Agina – Executive Director, Gender and Development disagreed with him saying that hate speech deals mainly on the intention. Giving example Ms Ada said that we cannot weigh in the scale the Quit notice issued Igbos by Arewa and Nnamdi Kacalling Nigeria a zoo.
