Lawmaker empowers constituents

YOLA—The Senator representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District, Senator Abdulaziz Nyako, yesterday, distributed farming implements, sewing machines and clothing materials to all the ward chairmen, women leaders and youth leaders of the district.

Making the distribution in Yola, Director General of Aziz Nyako Campaign Organisation, Alhaji Isah Bagalchi, explained that the gesture is part of the Senator’s assistance to the constituency, especially the party officials whose contributions to the Senator’s victory cannot be over-emphasised.

In his address, Senator Nyako urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the items and be self-sufficient, saying “gone are the days government shouldered all their needs.”
