University of Dundee emerges best in Scotland

The University of Dundee’s School of Medicine has been announced as the best university in Scotland by the Guardian University Guide and included in the United Kingdom’s top five places to study medicine every year since 2011.

The success, which was third in a roll was as a result of dedication to innovation, committed staff, and state-of-the-art facilities at the University, alongside the wide range of world-leading courses on offer to its students.

The University offers postgraduate courses in subjects such as public health, human clinical embryology and assisted conception, and orthopaedic surgery with graduates going on to gain employment in their field all around the world.

And students from Nigeria interested in furthering their medical career in Dundee can even take advantage of up to £5000 in scholarships.

The University of Dundee continues to go from strength to strength, being named Scottish University of the Year in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide for the second consecutive year in 2017.

It has been named best in the UK among the world’s universities under 50 years old in the QS World University Rankings, and third in the UK for international student satisfaction by the International Student Barometer.

These accolades recognise the University’s excellent teaching quality and student experience; the strength of its research; its economic, social and cultural impact; and its commitment to transforming lives locally and globally.
