Delta Community passes confidence vote in leadership, extends tenure

ASABA—The people of Tekedor-Kusimi community in Warri South West Local Government Area, Delta State have passed a vote of confidence in the Deacon Clement Tekedor-led executive, saying that they are providing purposeful leadership for the community.

Moving the motion for the vote of confidence which was seconded by Victor Kusimi, Chief Balogun Numa said that the community executive was doing well, adding that their tenure being extended was unanimously adopted.

The elated chairman, Deacon Tekedor, urged the people of the community to continue to live in peace within themselves and among their neighbours.

Tekedor who spoke at a well attended one day sensitization seminar and meeting on the importance of living in harmony, stressed the need for the people to always employ dialogue rather than resort to violence in settling disputes.

He said that his leadership was working hard to create an enabling environment for companies operating in Egwa Oil field to return to full operations, he assured that he was determined to make life more meaningful for the Tekedor- Kusimi indigenes.
