LOKOJA – There was pandemonium, Tuesday, at the Kogi State House of Assembly when suspected hoodlum invaded the assembly complex, disrupted the sitting and afterward descended on the member representing Igalamela/Odolu constituency, Friday Sani who was just resuming after been reinstated by a state High Court.
The Speaker of the House, Ahmed Umar and other lawmakers along with journalists who were at plenary also narrowly escaped death when the thugs disrupted the house sitting and unleash mayhem.
The hoodlums after gaining entrance to the assembly complex try to force their ways through the Speakers entrance but were wade off by the Speaker orderlies who blocked the entrance and held firm to the door.
