Total Plc has taken 55 senior secondary school students, drawn from public schools across the country on a tour of its Lubricant blending plant, Koko, Delta State.
The students were selected from Iwere College, Beach Secondary School and Omateye Secondary School, Ajagbodudu, all within the Koko community of Delta State to participate in the event.
A stakeholder’s meeting involving the State Ministry of Education, as well as volunteer Total Nigeria employees who acted as mentors was earlier held with the pre-selected schools.
The Corporate Affairs Manager, Mr. Albert Mabuyaku who represented the Managing Director, Mr. Jean-Phillipe Torres, in welcoming the students explained the pre-requisite safety brief of the organisation, which is a crucial part of Total’s core values before providing them with appropriate Personal Protective equipments.
