Uduaghan lauds Okowa over Maritime Technology School

By Jerimaiah Urowayino

Delta State Commissioner for Transport, Mr. Vincent Uduaghan, has commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for the role he played in the accreditation of courses at Delta State School of Maritime Technology, Burutu.

Uduaghan made the disclosure, yesterday, in Asaba while addressing the Permanent Secretary, Directorate of Transport, Mr Edwin Abrake, Director of Marine Transport, Mr Victor Omoniyi and other management staff of the directorate.

The commissioner noted that despite the numerous financial challenges confronting the state and the government’s urgent desire to develop other sectors of the state, the governor took the issue of  the maritime school seriously.

“It was heart-warming to the staff of the Directorate of Transport, staff and students of the school of Maritime Technology that the accreditation of courses was successful   with the National Board of Technical Education,” he added.
