The calls for restructuring and resistance to same from different sides of the polity have lately agitated the polity.

Agitators for the restructuring of the polity have over time championed their cause using various channels albeit with limited success.

Vanguard, in its continuing mission towards a better life for the people, brought together some of the leading lights in the civil rights community to examine the issue at the Vanguard Conference Hall VCH.

The session was streamed live on the Vanguard website and was moderated by Vanguard’s Emmanuel Aziken.

The discussants included Dr. Abiola Akiyode-Afolabi, the chairperson of Transition Monitoring Group, TMG; Bala Zaka, Engineer, Chartered Accountant, and Public Affairs Analyst; Chukwuemeka Eze, Lawyer, journalist, and former politician and Olukayode Salako, Activist and Good Governance Advocate.
