Ndokwa to enjoy steady power supply with IPP Phase 2

Ndokwa nation is set to enjoy uninterrupted power supply as the step-down of Okpai Independent Power Project, IPP, Phase II, begins.

This is one of the resolutions reached at a meeting with Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State; Deputy Speaker of the state’s House of Assembly, Mr. Friday Osanebi; commissioner representing Ndokwa nation on the board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Commission, DESOPADEC, Mr. Nnamdi Ezechi; Nigerian Agip Company Limited, led by the Vice Chairman, Managing Director, Massimo Insulla; Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, led by Mr. Usman Mohammed, Managing Director/CEO; Igwe of Okpai community and some Okpai leaders in the governor’s office in Asaba, yesterday.

Governor Okowa, who charged the contractor, AGIP and Okpai community on peaceful engagement, thanked the deputy speaker for his commitment and intermediary efforts in seeing that the second phase of the IPP begins for the betterment of the people, describing the lawmaker as a true son of his community.
