The attention given to rape victims may see a reduction following a new allegation which appears to be made up or aptly put copied.
Feminists using reports of sexual harassment to make a case for women woke up to a rude shock this week following what is being widely considered a false allegation of rape.
Through a Twitter profile @Ujunwa77, a woman accused Lekan Akinjide reportedly the husband of writer Ozzy Etomi who is a passionate feminist, of raping her.
According to Ujunwa the alleged rape occurred shortly after his wife visited the gym.
She described in deep sadness her encounter with Akinjide who allegedly gave her a wad of cash after having his sex with her without consent.
Etomi who would have been another victim in the story was made to assume the character of an enabler in the tweets that carried the emotion of the narrator.

She was accused of indulging Lekan Akinjide after the assault, even sacking her when she opened up about the alleged rape.
According to Ujunwa, her former boss Ozzy Etomi is a hypocrite who is not really committed in her support for women.

But her account seem a bunch of made up ideas extracted from an article published on the Pulse Nigeria news website.
A “Morning Teaser” article written by its reporter shared the account of a woman who was raped by her boss.
It appeared the narrator took the entire portion of the write-up making few changes and made it a story but it failed to slip past another Twitter profile Akan Maurice.
Talking about making things clear, Maurice produced a screenshot of the article which contained a letter written to Pulse by a 28-year-old woman identified as Victoria.
What the future holds for actual victims of rape
All over the world, the Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment scandal opened up a flood of allegations from victims who are mostly in the entertainment circle.
More women have been encouraged to make known their experiences in the hands of their abusers, introducing a time of high consciousness for the group who seem to have gained the courage to confront sexual abusers.
The same reaction is noticeable in Nigeria where feminists are playing the role of top strikers in their criticism of men thought to have sexually assaulted a person of the female gender naturally inferior in strength.
The BergerToAjah hashtag ensured a conversation around this subject but it became messy for women liberator Damilola Marcus.
She dragged a man Uche Daniel reportedly a manipulator for trying to have sex with her friend whose name was not mentioned.
Another lady Bimbo Ajao became the victim all over again
Ajao quickly became the main character as well as the villain in a heated dialogue that attracted the attention of Twitter trolls who saw an opportunity to condemn folks who accuse men of rape.
Being men themselves, it is hard for these fault finders to fathom so many accusations against their gender.

Ujunwa’s impaired account may have given strength to this group as well as clear Ozzy Etomi and her husband Lekan Akinjide of an embarrassing indictment.
She is grateful to a curious and observant Akan Maurice whose tweets have brought on Calvary protection in the face of accusations which may have been difficult to deny.
In the event where a person who has been sexually harassed feels the need to call attention to the experience, gathering proof should be a first call in the hope to get good support.
