AYND donates to 120 indigent students in Delta

ASABA—No fewer than 120 indigent students and pupils of secondary and primary schools in Onicha-Ugbo, Aniocha North Local Government Area, Delta State, were given school bags, mathematical sets, notebooks, biros, pencils and other writing materials worth over N1.7 million by Anioma Youth Network for Development, AYND, under its maiden Back-to-School programme.

The programme, tagged “Let’s Heal the World Through Giving,” was declared open by a former member of House of Representatives, Prince Ned Nwoko.

Earlier in his remarks, National President of the group and Initiator of the programme, Mr. Sunday Odita, said the project was strategic in view of the fact that primary and secondary schools were about to resume for the 2017/ 2018 academic session.

He commended those who donated towards the success of the programme.
